About Cris
| Cris was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in the Millsap, Texas area. Growing up, much time was spent in the outdoors with parents and friends. Common outdoor activities were hiking, fossil hunting, fishing, duck hunting, camping and working cattle. During this time, a respect and awe of nature was formed. In high school, a strong interest in photography emerged after being given her grandfather's Contaflex Zeiss SLR film camera. College days brought two bachelor of science degrees, one in Computer Science, and one in Health Information Management. While working as Director of HIM at a hospital, interest in computer technology grew fiercely. This lead to a nine year stent traveling the United States implementing and training folks in the use of document management systems in health care facilities. A wonderful job, but corporate ownership changed and slowly fantastic, long-time co-workers were being laid-off or jumping ship. Cris and husband Bill, decided it was time to take the reins and start their own business and Pro Epic Technology Solutions was born - a website development and electronic-media marketing solutions company. Exploration, discovery and creative expression are cornerstones of Cris' life. Through her photography work, web graphic design and website production work, the years of experience and continuous study blend together nicely. Through it all the focus is that of service - working with people to develop the best possible solutions. |
